Common Questions

How do I know which filters my home needs?

Start by identifying the make and model of your MVHR/HRV unit. These systems are usually installed in a utility room, storage cupboard, plant cupboard, or loft space. The brand and model code are typically printed on the front or side of the unit, or listed in the user manual provided at installation.

Once you know the brand/model, you can browse our range and select the compatible filters. Many manufacturers also list filter part numbers in their manuals.

If you’re unsure, we recommend comparing the dimensions of your existing filters with the product description. And if you still need help, just contact us we’re happy to advise.

What level of quality can I expect?

Yes. Our filters are manufactured in the UK using high-quality filters.

Our filters are manufactured in the UK using high-quality filter media designed to maintain performance and airflow within your MVHR/HRV system. All filters meet European EN779 filtration standards.

These are compatible replacement filters and are engineered for reliable performance and long system life.

To keep your heat recovery system running efficiently, filters must be replaced regularly.

  • Minimum recommended replacement: every 12 months

  • Urban / high-pollution areas: every 6 months

Between replacements, you can gently vacuum or clean the filters (always follow your manufacturer’s instructions and avoid liquids). Regular filter changes help protect the system and can extend its lifespan. Most MVHR units require a full service every 5 years.
